Gambling is entertainment — and culpk is committed to keeping it that way. This page explains every tool available to help you stay in control, recognise potential problem behaviour early and access support when you need it. Whether you're tracking a PSL match from Lahore or playing live tables from Karachi, responsible play starts here.
Tools to help you gamble safely, set limits and access help
Responsible gambling means engaging with betting and gaming as a form of entertainment — not as a way to make money, manage stress or escape problems. At culpk, we believe every player in Pakistan deserves access to clear information, practical tools and honest support so that gambling stays in its proper place: occasional fun, with known limits and no financial harm.
The reality is that for most people, gambling is simply an enjoyable pastime — much like following Pakistan cricket, watching a PSL final or placing a friendly wager on an ICC World Cup match with friends. The risk arises when gambling shifts from entertainment to something more compulsive, and when the financial and personal costs start to outweigh the enjoyment.
Responsible gambling is not about telling players what they can or cannot do. It is about giving every player the information and tools to make their own informed choices — and about making sure those tools are genuinely easy to use, not buried in menus or hidden in fine print.
If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, review the tools on this page or speak to our support team.
All tools described below are accessible through your account settings. They are real controls, not cosmetic features — and we make them as easy to activate as possible.
Set a maximum deposit amount for a daily, weekly or monthly period. Once your limit is reached, further deposits are blocked until the period resets. Limit reductions take effect immediately. Increases are subject to a mandatory waiting period to prevent impulsive decisions during a session.
Cap the total amount you are permitted to lose in any given day, week or month. If your net losses reach the cap you have set, further wagering is paused until the period resets. This prevents a bad run from spiralling beyond what you planned for.
Set a maximum session duration so that the Platform reminds you when your planned time is up. When your session limit is reached, a reminder is displayed and — depending on your settings — you may be logged out automatically. Works well alongside sports-session watching habits like a T20 innings break.
Set a time interval (e.g., every 30 or 60 minutes) after which a pop-up reminder appears showing you how long you have been playing and your net win/loss for the session. This gentle pause helps you make a conscious decision about whether to continue.
Take a short break from the Platform — 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days or 30 days — without committing to a longer self-exclusion. During a cool-off period, your account is suspended for wagering. Marketing communications are also paused during this period.
Request a self-exclusion for a defined period (typically 6 months, 1 year, 3 years or permanently). During self-exclusion, your account is closed for wagering and you will not receive promotional communications. Self-exclusions cannot be reversed before the chosen period ends. Permanent self-exclusion is irreversible.
All of the tools listed above are available through your account settings panel. You do not need to contact support to activate deposit limits, session controls or a cool-off period — they are self-service. For self-exclusion or permanent account closure, you can use account settings or contact our support team directly.
If at any point the tools feel unclear or you want help setting an appropriate limit for your situation, our support team is available 24/7 through Live Chat and can walk you through the process in English, or with Urdu assistance where available.
Limit reductions (lower deposit cap, shorter session, stricter loss limit) take effect immediately. Limit increases are subject to a mandatory cooling-off period before taking effect. This design is intentional — it prevents impulsive decisions made during an active losing session from bypassing your own planned protections.
Access your account from any device. All responsible gambling tools are available on both the mobile and desktop versions of the Platform — no app download required to access settings.
Find the "Responsible Gambling" or "Safe Play" section within your account settings menu. This section is kept prominent and easy to find — not hidden behind multiple layers of navigation.
Choose from Deposit Limits, Loss Limits, Session Time Limits, Reality Check Reminders, Cool-Off or Self-Exclusion. Each tool has a clear description of how it works before you activate it.
Enter the amount (in PKR) or time period you want to apply. You will be shown a confirmation screen before the limit goes live. Reductions take immediate effect; increases require a cooling-off period.
If you need assistance activating a tool, want to discuss self-exclusion, or feel your situation is urgent, contact our support team via Live Chat or email ([email protected] — plain text, not a link) any time.
Responsible gambling is not a one-time setup. Review your limits periodically — especially after any significant change in your financial situation — to make sure they still reflect what is appropriate for you.
Problem gambling rarely appears suddenly. It typically develops gradually. Recognising these signs early — in yourself or someone you know — is the most important step.
Placing bigger bets to "win back" money lost in an earlier session — one of the most consistent early signs of problematic behaviour.
Using money set aside for household expenses, rent, utility bills or other essentials to fund gambling sessions.
Neglecting responsibilities, lying about gambling activity or experiencing conflict with family in Karachi, Lahore or elsewhere over gambling habits.
Using gambling to cope with stress, boredom, anxiety or personal problems — or feeling restless, irritable or anxious when not gambling.
Consistently playing for far longer than planned, missing meals, appointments or sleep because of gambling sessions.
Needing to bet larger amounts over time to feel the same level of excitement — a pattern similar to tolerance seen in other compulsive behaviours.
Spending excessive time thinking about gambling — planning the next session, reliving past wins or losses, or feeling unable to concentrate on daily tasks.
Repeatedly trying to cut down or stop gambling without success, despite genuinely wanting to. This is a strong indicator that professional support may be helpful.
If you — or someone you know — is struggling with gambling, reaching out is the right move. The following options are available to culpk users.
Our support team can help you activate any responsible gambling tool, explain how self-exclusion works, or simply listen without judgement. Live Chat is available around the clock, including during PSL match nights and ICC tournament days.
The culpk Help Centre contains detailed self-service guides on activating deposit limits, session controls and self-exclusion. Available at all times — no login required to browse the responsible gambling articles.

The gaming Operator whose platform powers culpk has its own responsible gambling team and formal dispute/support processes. Details of the Operator's support channels are available through your account dashboard or by asking our Live Chat team.
Recognised responsible gambling support organisations operate in many licence jurisdictions. Where the Operator's licence includes access to specific certified support bodies (such as GamCare, BeGambleAware or equivalent), those details are provided within the Operator's account responsible gambling section. Text-only references — no endorsement is implied.
If you are concerned about a family member's gambling — a spouse in Islamabad, a sibling in Rawalpindi or a friend in Multan — our support team can provide guidance on how to raise the issue with them and on what tools are available to limit their account activity.
culpk's approach to responsible gambling is built around a small number of commitments that we take seriously. These are not marketing bullet points — they shape how we design the Platform and how we respond when a player shows signs of distress.
Pakistan has significant restrictions on gambling activities, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. The legal status of online gambling can vary by province and applicable law. culpk does not claim to be licensed, approved, regulated or endorsed by the Government of Pakistan, the PTA, the State Bank of Pakistan or any Pakistani provincial authority.
Users in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and all other cities and areas of Pakistan are solely responsible for ensuring that their participation in online gambling is lawful in their jurisdiction before accessing the Platform. This page does not constitute legal advice.
Payment method names — Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank, Bank Alfalah — are referenced as contextual Pakistani payment options only. Their mention does not imply that any of those providers endorse, affiliate with or support gambling transactions.
The responsible gambling tools and resources described on this page are provided by the Platform and/or the Operator for the benefit of users. They do not constitute compliance with Pakistani domestic gambling regulation, which may prohibit online gambling altogether. Use this Platform only if you have satisfied yourself that doing so is lawful for you personally.
The best gambling session is one you planned, budgeted for and can walk away from comfortably. Set your limits before you start, enjoy the cricket odds and live casino tables, and remember — help is always one tap away.
Adults 18+ only — or the higher minimum required by the operator/license jurisdiction. Gambling involves risk. Play responsibly.
